Old Navy wanted a self-service ordering tool that would assist shoppers who were trying to find products in their size and color. I was assigned to be the lead designer (my first lead role at the time!) and art directed a team that concepted and prototyped the entire experience. The challenge was to create a simple tool that customers could easily identify, understand, and use with little to no help from busy sales associates. The final product involved environmental signage, in-store marketing material, and an iOS application – all which were then prototyped and piloted in 3 San Francisco store locations.
