Old Navy wanted a self-service ordering tool that would assist shoppers who were trying to find products in their size and color. I was assigned to be the lead designer and art directed a team that concepted and prototyped the entire experience. The challenge was to create a simple tool that customers could easily identify, understand, and use with little to no help from busy sales associates. We worked closely with our Old Navy partners who managed the physical prototyping, app development, and user-testing for the project. The final product involved environmental signage, in-store marketing material, and an iOS application – all which were then piloted in 3 San Francisco store locations.
